It covers TAMT’s mission and role in supporting campus safety, along with guidance on how to recognize and refer concerning behaviors through the university’s reporting process. Participants will also learn how to access TAMT’s online training courses for a deeper understanding. Due to the brief format, this session does not include time for Q&A.

This presentation provides a more in-depth understanding of behavioral threat assessment and management. In addition to an overview of TAMT’s mission and referral process, the session explores the core principles of threat assessment, including the pathway to targeted violence and common warning behaviors. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of what types of concerns warrant a TAMT referral and how early intervention supports campus safety. The session concludes with an opportunity for Q&A.

This presentation covers advanced strategies for navigating and resolving conflict in a university setting. Topics include common challenges to interpersonal effectiveness, communication techniques, frameworks and strategies for managing conflict, active listening skills, and approaches to digital conflict. Participants will engage in interactive exercises to practice and apply these skills in realistic scenarios. The session also helps participants distinguish between conflicts that can be managed independently and those that may warrant a TAMT referral.
Because this is a customizable training, a preparation session with TAMT is required prior to scheduling.
